- Paddock tree flier and planting project which was funded by CCRC is getting new legs care of Terrain and will come out as a brochure very soon.
- Hancock’s negotiations were progressed by Secretary Lawrie who organised a site inspection with the District Manager John Bennett and Anne , Daryl and Geoff
- Mahogany Glider webcam Monitoring workshop has been postponed til November due to John Winter’s ill health
- Partnership with Conservation Volunteers Australia forming on reveg for gliders
- Update and reprinting of Mahogany Glider Education Kit with Terrain’s funding to begin this month. rewrite planning on 15th
- Celebration of 45 years of Reef Conservation is on 14th Oct. See Below – Book Now!

Invitation to Ellison Reef
The birthplace of the Great Barrier Reef conservation campaign in 1967
Original diver Eddie Hegerl, boat-owner Perry Harvey and friends are returning to Ellison Reef, now part of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park and World Heritage Area, to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the first coral battleground.
9 30am Clump Point Boat departs for Ellison Reef Returns 2pm
11am Ellison Reef Join people who, 45 years ago, proved Ellison Reef was alive and set the legal precedent for not mining the Great Barrier Reef
Boats depart Clump Point 9.30am. Tickets $110-$150
including lunch.
